1st Triennale Exam Details

Students enrolling for the first-year Triennale exam are reminded that, as the exam is again scheduled for the classroom, the Use of English test will return to its original format.

This means that there will be a total of 80 multiple-choice questions (55 grammar and 25 vocabulary) to be done on the dedicated Moodle page in the computer labs.

The time allowed for the test will also be extended to its original limit of 60 minutes.

Please also note, that the start time indicated is 09.00, but given the number of students expected at this particular part of the exam, students should remember that there will be various shifts organised in alphabetical order of surname. Therefore, they are advised to programme the day accordingly.

Once students have passed the test – the result is visible on the screen once the test has been terminated and submitted – they do not need to enrol again for the second part of the exam – Dictation.

The results of the Use of English test will also be posted on this website a few days before the date of part two of the exam. Students must look for their matriculation number and, alongside their result, they will find the time they will be expected to take the Dictation.

As regards the format of this part of the exam, there will be no change: the dictation will be approximately 180 words long and the test takes a little less than 30 minutes.
