2nd Year Triennale: General Information

LETTORATI CLASSES 2022-2023

Students who wish to attend lettorati classes should sign up for 2 weekly classes (4 hours per week) which will cover all the academic year – both semesters.

These are ANNUAL not semester courses and the first time students can take the lettorato exam is the summer session at the end of the year in which they are enrolled

  • Students will be offered one 2 hr lettorato class in their degree course speciality. This helps to prepare students with the specific language skills relevant to their degree course and chosen field, as well as preparing them for the 2nd year oral exam.

  • Students should also attend a second general lettorato class which is a course in advanced level English grammar, in preparation for the Use of English Pre-test (successful candidates have access to the oral exam) and also listening and speaking practice, in preparation for the 2nd year oral exam - download oral exam criteria

  • If you sign up for a Lettorato you are expected to attend regularly, do homework that is assigned and also do additional self-study work at home.

Students are expected to have original copies of the books, which contain CDs and videos.
