Dipartimento di Lingue e Letterature Straniere e Culture Moderne
LETTORATI EXAMS HAVE A VALIDITY OF 3 YEARS
(an exam sat in January/May/September 2023 is valid until 31/12/2025)
Students are reminded that this exam cannot be taken until Lingua Inglese I has been passed
Students of all three LM degree courses (LM-37, LM-38, and LM-94) will be required to give an academic-style presentation of at most six minutes based on their 250-300-word written abstract, the deadline for which will be posted below.
Students may choose to make their presentation on their dissertation topic, undergraduate thesis, training experience (tirocinio), work experience related to their field of specialisation, or a topic of their choice, which their instructor must approve.
A note on Artificial Intelligence (AI): AI is to be used solely for research purposes. Students' abstracts will be checked to make sure that AI is used in no more than 20% of the content.
The exam will be held in a room with multimedia facilities (e.g., computer, PowerPoint, overhead projector, sound system), so students are advised to make full use of them.
Students can have an outline or notes while presenting, but presentations should not be read aloud or memorised. The presentations will be followed by a question-and-answer (Q&A) session, during which students should answer questions from examiners.
Marks are given for a) the 250-300-word written abstract (10 points), b) the oral presentation and the Q&A session (20 points) - exam guidelines (PDF)

Non-attenders must consult this website and be clear about course objectives. Work will NOT be accepted after the deadline.
