LETTORATI EXAMS HAVE A VALIDITY OF 3 YEARS

(an exam sat in January/May/September 2022 is valid until 31/12/2024)

LM-37 Lingue e Letterature Moderne

Students enrolled in the LM 37 degree course will take the first-year exam of the lettorato which they choose to attend, i.e. either LM 38 or LM 94.

Students should therefore read the information below regarding the respective exams carefully.

LM-38 Lingue Straniere per la Comunicazione Internazionale e Comunicazione Internazionale per il Turismo (and LM-37 students who choose this option)

Students will be required to write a summary - in a given number of words - of an extended text dealing with contemporary issues which are relevant to students' specialization, such as international news and events, current affairs, economy, law.

Both bilingual and monolingual dictionaries will be allowed (Paper dictionaries ONLY)

Time: 3 hours.

LM-94 Translation (and LM 37 students who choose this option)

TRANSLATION (Italian > English)

The exam will consist of a translation of one text (250 - 290 words) from Italian into English (bilingual and monolingual  PAPER dictionaries  may be used), chosen from 2 texts offered, which reflect the themes and styles presented during the course.
